The Mother Ship’s 2025/26 season comes to life under the creative direction of Krista Watterworth Alterman, award-winning interior designer, tastemaker, and television personality known for her fresh, modern approach to timeless luxury.
A former HGTV host and featured designer on The Vanilla Ice Project (DIY Network) and Restaurant: Impossible (Food Network), Krista’s career has spanned national television, high-end residential design, and creative leadership. She is the Executive Creative Director behind KH by Vesta, Florida’s leading luxury interior design firm and part of Vesta Home, the nation’s premier design and staging company.
For The Mother Ship, Krista has curated an environment that reflects her signature aesthetic—clean, coastal sophistication layered with warmth, texture, and personality. Each space tells a story, balancing polished modernity with a lived-in, soulful feel.
